WHAT IS DIFINITY Power BI DayPower BI Conference
Difinity is the largest Microsoft Data, AI, Power BI, Power Platform and Business Applications Conference in New Zealand focusing on Data Platform, AI, Business Intelligence, Business Applications, Power Platform, and Analytics. IT Decision Makers, Developers, Business Analysts, IT Professionals, BI Managers, BI Professionals, Database Administrators, Architects, Digital & Big Data business leaders, and Consultants will gather for three consecutive days of learning.
Difinity Power BI Day is a shorter and smaller version of this conference focused only on the Microsoft Power BI topic. There will be two tracks of sessions all in one day from morning to evening. 12 sessions in the day. The event is held in-person in three cities in December 2020 with the COVID-19 considerations.
Like many of you, we have been doing a lot of events online through Teams and Zoom meetings. This event is a chance for us to get together in a safe environment.

When COVID-19 case numbers were still low in New Zealand, there were no visuals to illustrate how the virus was spreading. I set out to build a dashboard using the official data from the government web site. I'll walk you through the challenges I faced and the workarounds I used with Excel and Power BI. If you've ever looked at a COVID-19 chart, this session is for you.
