Difinity Power BI Day is a shorter and smaller version of this conference focused only on the Microsoft Power BI topic. There will be two tracks of sessions all in one day from morning to evening. 12 sessions in the day. The event is held in-person in three cities in December 2020 with the COVID-19 considerations.
Like many of you, we have been doing a lot of events online through Teams and Zoom meetings. This event is a chance for us to get together in a safe environment.

Description:
Many of the self-service BI features we know and love in Power BI made their first appearance as add-ins for Microsoft Excel, in the form of Power Pivot and Power Query. These features live on in the latest versions of Excel, and are valuable tools for anyone who works with data in Excel. This session is for anyone who is curious about what "Power Excel" has to offer.
In this session I will build a "Power Excel" report using Power Query and Power Pivot, and compare with a similar report in Power BI, while demonstrating:
•Key differences between Power BI and Excel's Power Query & Power Pivot
•Excel-specific features, including PivotTables, cube functions and named sets
•Visualization options in Excel
•How to import from Excel to Power BI
